Returning plates

ill be exiting this business soon hopefully if everything goes well. I was wondering the process of submitting the tlc plates. Do i just go to the dmv with my plates and registration? Also what about the tlc stickers? Do i just rip them off and burn them? Lol or do i have to submit them to the tlc?
