Anyone received the email regarding driver accreditation application and medical tests via Uber?

When do you think it will be compulsory to finalize the DA?

Someone mentioned early 2018 over the RSDU facebook group.

Uber will probably make it a compulsory requirement once they feel they have enough drivers already accredited. So in answer to your question, i think that the end of 2017 to early 2018 sure looks within reason.

The actual official legislation is still about a year and half away.

They paid for mine so I just went and got it done. No hassles. Found out my right eye is a bit bung, though. That was depressing.

It's a no brainer, I paid for mine but very simple test get it done you going to need it anyway might as well do it before the ant crew starts a major delay

Yes, Jey2k they paid for my accreditation. This went out initially to their 'top partners' - not sure whether invitations were extended beyond that.
