What are your top PANDORA stations?

I have formed my favourite stations based on my riders personal tastes.

I often ask riders what kind of music do they like and search for it. Over time a nice variety is formed.

Music often keeps the mood upbeat and happy. But do be aware that some people prefer silence.

If I may use this example,
female Asian international students who ordinarily won't say a word to me will suddenly become my bestie if I play K-pop (Korean), in particular Big-Bang are in right now. Chinese girls love it too. Japanese and Korean music culture has strong support across Asia.

Then for Chinese, you have someone like Jay Chou (you may remember he played alongside Seth Rogen in The Green Hornet). Careful not to play him to older Chinese men though who may care more about the Taiwan Vs China sovereignty issue.

On a side note, since advertisements came back at the start of 2017, do you get solely American ads from the USA?

I've been screamed at for having Adele on the radio by a British rider who hates her.

The type of music people like varies a lot.
I no longer give riders the option to choose music.
I used to change stations based on what I thought they would like for example Triple J for Newtown Pick ups, 2gb for older males from Castereigh and Triple M for anyone west of the city.

But now I just have some smooth or easy listening stuff down low (not for the music but to create white noise that prevents the awkward silences). I also have the fan blowing onto the window to create some more noise.

 

I like using it on my breaks when taking walks in random places.

Today though, I used it while mowing the lawn. Didn't map it with the accuracy I had hoped for.

Well yes, put on 10kgs Ubering.
So decided to Uber less, and get exercising, give up the junk food and now I've lost 4kgs.

6 to go! And then another 10 from there if I can.

Took a Taiwanese girl to the Airport and she was so surprised, saying that he isn't that famous for me to know who he is and to be playing it in the car.
Impressed. That's how we roll.
