RSDU Update 4/5/2017

Following our latest protest Uber seems to continue to mistreat and exploit their drivers in Melbourne wasting their time and resources. Base rates are still unchanged and at unsustainable levels, leaving far too many drivers overworked and underpaid.

Some of our member drivers have been complaining they can no longer afford to properly service thier cars. Others find themselves driving long 14-16 shifts just to service expensive car leases or loans.

RSDU is therefore left with no choice but to announce further actions soon as well as explore the competition options, and if their pay and working conditions are any better, recommend to all members to consider making the switch.

Uber! Enough is enough.
